Assessment prior to Detox
A Full and sustained recovery is possible with the help of Abstain.
It is dangerous for some people to just stop drinking and can result in significant harm or be life threatening.
Because of this Abstain insists on completing a full assessment prior to offering any advice.
What happens?
We thoroughly assess you either at your home or at one of our clinics whichever is convenient for you.
The assessment will involve some of the following:-
Bloods for Liver enzymes.
BAC (breathalyser)
History of overall health (mental and physical,
risk assessment)
Full physical provided by the clinical staff.
This can take between 1-2 hours and will inform on what treatment options will best suit your needs.Once we have agreed that it is safe for you to complete our detox, we will arrange for a date to commence the treatment.
